Units Handle Single-Vehicle Accident on Hydes Road (Local Box 38-10)

Just before 1800 hours, units from Jacksonville and Long Green were dispatched to a report of a car versus a telephone pole on Hydes Road. While still enroute, the call was upgraded to a rescue assignment, bringing additional units including Jacksonville’s Engine 471. SU387 arrived to find that a car had struck a pole and had come to rest on the side of the road. After being on location for a few minutes the rescue assignment was cancelled. Units from Station 38 and IV 475 handled patient care.
