Jacksonville Responds to Chimney Fire in Maryland Line (Fire Box 45-32)

At 2302 hours on Monday, units from Northern Baltimore County, Harford County, and York County were alerted for a report of a chimney fire in Station 45's first-due area. Harford County Chief 10 was the first unit at location, reporting smoke showing. After a few minutes, he reported a working chimney fire with extension to the first and second floors. While Jacksonvilles Engine 471 and other units were still responding, crews worked to get the fire under control and check for additional extension to the rest of the house. E471 arrived at 2325 hours and staged awaiting instructions. At 0004 hours, command scaled the assignment allowing Engine 471 to clear.
