Jacksonville Responds to Two Alarm Fire in Fallston (Harford County Fire Box 1326)

On a cold and rainy Friday morning, Station 47 responded to a mutual aid request for the report of a bedroom fire on Campbell Road in Fallston’s first due area. First arriving units reported a working dwelling fire. Command requested a second alarm at 0836 hours. The fire was knocked at 0846 hours. Personnel from Jacksonville assisted approximately fifty other firefighters from Fallston, Bel Air, Jarrettsville, and Kingsville operating a total of seven engines, one tower, one truck, a medic unit, a draft unit, two tanker trucks, and an air cascade unit. Crews remained on the scene for extensive salvage and overhaul until almost lunchtime. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. Damage estimates were approximately $250,000.
