Engine 473 (1995)

This unit is a 1995 Spartan/Quality fire engine. It features a 1,000 gallon poly water tank and a 1,500 gpm Hale single-stage pump. It carries 1,000 feet of 5 inch supply hose and 1,200 feet of 3 inch supply hose. It seats six personnel and is equipped with an entire Amkus rescue tool system. This is the primary engine taken on car accidents and rescue assignments.

This engine was sold in February 2010 to the Harvey-Brewers Fire Department in Kentucky who obtained funding for a used engine from a FEMA grant. It was replaced with a 2010 Pierce Arrow XT.
